Referrals are working. What happens when they slow down?
Build another route to new customers without abandoning the reputation you’ve earned.

Look at where good customers come from
Review your recent customers and record how they found you. Note which enquiries were a good fit, not just which channel brought the most. This gives you a starting point for choosing where to invest time.
Make your reputation easier to find
Keep your service information and contact details consistent across your website and business listings. Ask satisfied customers for honest feedback, and publish approved project examples that explain the problem and your contribution.
Choose one additional route
You do not need to be everywhere. If customers actively search for your service, start with useful service pages and local visibility. If they need to understand a new offer first, consider helpful content or a focused campaign. Choose based on how customers buy.
Give the experiment a clear boundary
Agree the time, budget and type of enquiry you are looking for. Track where enquiries originate and review them regularly. Treat a new channel as something to learn from, rather than a guaranteed replacement for referrals.
